As a single, busy working mom, I felt like I was drowning. I didn't have any processes in order to make things run smoothly. I didn't have routines and I wasn't making time for myself and because of that the daily stressors seemed be heavy on me and my kids. I tried to start different ways to get back on track, but none of them worked or I didn't stick with them.
I was hesitant to start because I wasn't even sure what I needed to do to help myself. After meeting with Erin and answering her questions, it gave me more clarity as to what I needed to do to get back on track. She was understanding and patient. She was clear that this was my path and we can change and adjust what we needed to whenever we needed to. She made me think a little deeper into how I can solve problems or help brainstorm ways to do things a little differently and make a big difference. Having someone to bounce ideas off of helped tremendously.
I could see small changes each week while working with Erin. I can see that the habits I was forming for myself and the family changes I was making were making an impact on me and my kids and how our household operates. Our habits helped decrease stress and improve my mindset. The goals I chose to help take care of me increased my energy, improved my confidence, and showed my kids that sometimes mom has to do things, too.
